2011 Data Book Rollout
The Nevada KIDS COUNT Data Book 2011 was rolled out in three Nevada cities— in Las Vegas and Reno on July 10 and in Elko on July 12.
The Las Vegas rollout, hosted by the Clark County School District, featured two speakers. The first speaker, Dr. William O'Hare, senior consultant to the Annie E. Casey Foundation (AECF) in Baltimore, presented findings from his paper, Explaining State Differences in Child Well-Being. The second speaker, Dr. Stephen P. A. Brown, executive director of Nevada KIDS COUNT, followed with an overview of the Data Book.

In Reno, the rollout was hosted by the Children's Cabinet. Its executive director, Mike Pomi; social worker Norma Moyle, and First Lady Kathleen Sandoval summarized findings from the Data Book.
The Elko rollout was hosted by the P.A.C.E. Coalition. Its executive director, Cathy McAdoo; child advocate Fernando Serrano; Nevada System of Higher Education Regent Kevin Melcher; and owner of Impact Evaluation & Assessment Services, Margo Teague, provided an overview of the Data Book.
