Welcome
KIDS COUNT is a nationwide effort to make policymakers and the general public more aware of the well-being of American children. Every year its sponsor, The Annie E. Casey Foundation (AECF), publishes the national KIDS COUNT Data Book, which reports on 16 indicators of child well-being for each state.
KIDS COUNT is funded by a grant to the Center for Business and Economic Research. The AECF KIDS COUNT initiative is a national and state-by-state effort to track the status of children in America and to increase public awareness of the situation. Learn more »
